Carol Pryle

 

Carol grew up on farms west of Hamilton at Dorodong and Bochara; lived in Melbourne for 7 years then travelled in India for 6 months. She has been living in Hamilton since 1992.

She studied Fine Art at Melbourne University and Deakin University; Life Drawing and Oil Painting at Prahran TAFE, taught by Howard Arkley, Christine Johnson and online photography study.

Her influences and inspiration come from Picasso, Chris Gambrell, Minimalism, Asymmetry, Fibonacci, Health, Information, Transformation.

Carol runs and walks a lot in the early mornings and takes photographs along the way. She enjoys continuous one-line drawings in pen on paper, digital drawing (stylus and tablet) and photography.
